Guillermo Martínez

Former politician and senior executive with more than two decades of experience in public administration and the private sector, he has held a number of high-responsibility positions within the Government of the Principality of Asturias.

During his public service career, he served as Director of the Asturian Youth Institute, Chief Technical Advisor to the Government Delegation in Asturias, Mayor of Siero, and later Minister of the Presidency of the Principality of Asturias. In this role, he also acted as Government Spokesperson and Secretary of the Council of Government until 2019.

Following his public sector career, he held executive positions in the private sector, including roles in human resources, international business development and institutional relations.
